Welcome to our website.

Looe C.C. is a friendly and competitive club with two adult sides competing in the Cornwall League. Our 1st XI was promoted to Div 2 last season, and the 2nd XI are currently in Div 5. The club also runs youth sides, and over the last few years has produced many of the best young cricketers in the area who are now either playing for the 1st or 2nd XI, or indeed with the blessing of the club, have moved onto to a higher standard of cricket to further their development.

The 1st XI will again be captained by Mark Grassam, and the 2nd XI by John Mason. New faces are expected, and hopefully one or two others will be returning to the club which will undoubtedly strengthen the playing side. The 1st XI are under no illusions that the 2009 season will be a real challenge, but they are looking forward to it having waited along time to return to the league which its felt is the first stepping stone to the future ambitions of the club. The 2nd XI will undoubtedly be offering regular places to the younger generation, who, over the last few seasons have shown their worth time and time again, and who during early season nets have progressed beyond recognition.

Although Looe C.C. is a small club, we are a 'go-ahead' club with ambitions of reaching the highest standard possible for all our teams, senior and junior alike.

Qualified coaching is provided, and we are proud to hold the 'Clubmark' accreditation. The club continues to work towards providing the best possible facilities to play cricket. We have an excellent relationship with the local schools and the community, and we welcome any interest and new members.
